In 2026 IntegrateIT designed and installed a multi-room system in Edwardsville, Kansas: networking, distributed audio and video. The equipment lines on this project include Ubiquiti, Episode, Marantz and Samsung. Our own crew did the work from our showroom and design center at 15108 Glenwood Ave in Overland Park, Kansas. What went in
- Networking. A wired backbone with ceiling-mounted access points placed for coverage, a managed switch, and a separate lane for the smart devices. How we do networking

What a project like this involves
A network project starts with the house, not the router. The access-point count comes from the floor plan and the construction, the wired drops come from where the televisions, the rack and the office are, and the switch is sized for what will be added later.
Done this way the Wi-Fi is one name across the house and the grounds, the smart devices sit on their own lane, and the cameras and the audio never compete with the family for bandwidth.
