Multi-room video · Kansas City.

Every source in one rack, any of them on any screen. IntegrateIT designs and installs whole-home video distribution across the Kansas City metro from Overland Park, Kansas. Every source lives in one central rack. A video matrix routes any source to any TV, so cable plays in the bedroom while an Apple TV runs in the kitchen, all in 4K HDR and all controlled from the same interface that runs the rest of the house. No cable box or streaming stick behind each screen, no clutter, one remote or app for everything. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.

How whole-home video distribution works

  • Centralized source rack. Every cable box, Apple TV, Roku, and game console lives in one rack, not scattered behind TVs. Fewer boxes to buy, cleaner rooms, one place to service.
  • Any source on any TV. A video matrix routes any input to any display, each TV independent. Cable in the bedroom, streaming in the kitchen, the game in the great room, all at the same time.
  • Distribution sized to the home. HDMI matrix for smaller homes, HDBaseT over Cat6A up to 330 feet for most, AVoIP over a 10-gig network for estates that will keep adding displays. The structured network AVoIP rides on is part of the same design.
  • 4K HDR end to end. Full 4K HDR, and Dolby Vision where the source supports it, to every display, with no down-scaling between the rack and the screen.
  • One-touch control. Source selection on the same Control4 or Crestron interface that runs lighting, audio, and shades. A guest operates any TV without instructions.

Common questions

What is multi-room video distribution?

Every video source in the home (cable boxes, streaming players, game consoles) lives in one central rack instead of scattered behind each TV. A video matrix then routes any source to any display, so cable can play in the bedroom while an Apple TV runs in the kitchen. Fewer boxes to buy, no clutter at the screens, and one remote or app for the whole house.

HDMI matrix, HDBaseT, or IP distribution, which is right for my home?

Three approaches, sized to the home. HDMI matrix switching suits smaller homes with short runs and a handful of TVs. HDBaseT extends 4K HDR over a single Cat6 or Cat6A cable up to about 330 feet, the workhorse for most Kansas City luxury homes. IP-based distribution (AVoIP over a 10-gig network) scales without a fixed matrix size, right for estates with a dozen-plus displays or where you want to add TVs later without re-cabling. We spec the tier from your floor plan, display count, and how future-proof you want the backbone.

Can I watch different things on different TVs at the same time?

Yes. That is the whole point of a matrix. Every TV pulls its own source independently: the game in the great room, a movie in the theater, cartoons in the playroom, and a workout in the gym, all at once from the same central rack.

Does video distribution integrate with Control4 or Crestron?

Yes. Source selection sits on the same touchscreen, remote, keypad, or phone app that runs lighting, audio, and shades. Turn a TV on, pick a source from an on-screen list, and the matrix routes it. As a Control4 Platinum dealer and Crestron Elite Partner we build the control layer so a guest can operate any TV without a lesson.

What does a multi-room video system cost in Kansas City?

It scales with the number of TVs, the distribution tier (HDMI matrix vs HDBaseT vs AVoIP), whether you need 4K HDR or 4K with Dolby Vision, and whether the cabling already exists or has to be pulled through finished walls. A pre-wired new build costs far less than a retrofit that fishes cable behind drywall. We quote a fixed number from your floor plan and TV list rather than a per-room guess.
