Carried & Installed

Media Resources LED · Kansas City.

IntegrateIT carries and installs Media Resources LED across the Kansas City metro — the commercial line we reach for when a lobby, a boardroom or a control room needs a fine-pitch wall that is a fixture of the building rather than of a room. One precision first: Media Resources is a line we carry and install under distribution, not one we hold our own dealer agreement on, so we do not call ourselves an authorized Media Resources dealer. What we are is the people who size the wall from the room, engineer the structure and the service access, and hand your team a wall they can actually publish to. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.

What we carry and install from Media Resources

Media Resources is a North American manufacturer — headquartered in Ontario, with US operations and a warehouse in the Carolinas — and it sorts its catalog by where the display lives. The indoor platforms are our side of the line. We specify and install to order; nothing here is stocked. If the plain-words explanation of pixel pitch, brightness and serviceability is what you are after, it is on our dvLED page and applies here unchanged.

  • Element Series. The slim, value-engineered fine-pitch indoor platform, published in pitches from 0.93 mm to 1.875 mm at 600 nits, with front access and a direct HDMI input. The practical answer for retail and all-in-one installations, and the one we quote most often on a digital signage rollout where a single canvas anchors a room full of smaller screens.
  • TruVIEW COB. The finest-pitch platform, published from 0.625 mm at 800 nits, with a sealed surface the manufacturer states resists impact, dust and cleaning. This is the control-room and boardroom answer — anywhere the wall is close enough to touch and gets touched. It belongs to our commercial AV scope, with the room control and the sources designed at the same time.
  • TruVIEW MIP. The bright platform, published at 1,200 nits with a high-brightness option at 3,500 and the widest pitch range in the family. The answer for an atrium, a glass lobby or any space where daylight, not distance, is the constraint.
  • TruVIEW MIP Flex. The flexible-cabinet variant, which the manufacturer states enables convex and concave installations across walls, columns and architectural features — a curve, a column wrap or a ribbon. In practice it is a millwork and substructure project as much as a display one.
  • TruVIEW Transit. Their purpose-built outdoor platform for bus shelters, transit stations and passenger-information networks, published at 1.5 mm pitch and 4,000 nits. Named for completeness: it is transit-authority work and not a scope we take on.
  • The outdoor roadside platforms are not our scope. eQVISION and VISIONiQ, with the SITELINE light-control option on both, are built for roadside and out-of-home media. That work carries permitting, structural and lighting-ordinance scopes that belong to sign contractors and media operators, and we say so rather than take the job.

How a commercial wall gets designed in

A commercial wall answers to more people than a residential one, so the design starts with two questions that are not about hardware. Who is going to publish to it, and what does it say when nobody has published anything this week? A wall with no content owner becomes a screensaver in a month. We settle the content workflow, the templates and the training at design, and then either hold the scheduling for you or hand it over with credentials — both are legitimate, and the signage page walks that choice.

The rest is building work. Continuous load on verified structure, an adjustable frame shimmed flat because the cabinets butt edge to edge with no bezel to hide a bow, dedicated circuits coordinated with the electrician and sized for inrush, a heat budget the mechanical system has actually been told about, and a service path that reaches every cabinet without a lift and a road closure. Sources live in a rack in conditioned space on their own network lane, with the addressing and ports given to your IT group in writing — a wall quietly blocked by a firewall change is a common and infuriating outage. Calibration is last, against the lighting the space actually has.

Where it sits beside the alternatives we also carry

  • Against Just Video Walls. Just Video Walls is the residential-led line — a wall designed around a house and its architecture. Media Resources is the one we reach for when the wall belongs to a building and a facilities team.
  • Against a tiled display wall. Several commercial Sony panels in a grid still cost less than a fine-pitch LED canvas, and for a wall of separate messages that is the right answer. Bezels are the trade, and they are visible on one continuous image.
  • Against many smaller screens. If the brief is the right message on twelve screens rather than one large picture, that is a publishing operation and it lives on the signage page, driven by BrightSign players.

Common questions

Who installs Media Resources LED displays in Kansas City?

IntegrateIT (Overland Park, KS) carries and installs Media Resources LED across the Kansas City metro — we size the wall from the room, engineer the structure and the service access, build the video path and content workflow that feed it, and calibrate it once the space is finished. To be precise about the relationship: Media Resources is a line we carry and install under distribution, not one we hold our own dealer agreement on, so we do not call ourselves an authorized Media Resources dealer. The brands we do hold dealer agreements on are listed on our site and include Control4, Crestron, Lutron HomeWorks and Sonance. Control4 Platinum Dealer, Crestron Elite Partner, Lutron Certified Installer and CEDIA member. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.

Which Media Resources platform suits my space?

It is decided by how close people stand and how bright the room is. The Element Series is the slim, value-engineered fine-pitch platform, published in pitches from 0.93 mm to 1.875 mm at 600 nits, with front access and a direct HDMI input — the practical answer for a retail wall or an all-in-one installation where speed of installation matters. TruVIEW COB goes finer, from 0.625 mm, at 800 nits, with a sealed surface the manufacturer states resists impact, dust and cleaning — which is what you want in a control room, a boardroom or anywhere the wall is within arm’s reach. TruVIEW MIP is the bright one, published at 1,200 nits with a high-brightness option at 3,500, across the widest pitch range — the answer for an atrium or a glass lobby where daylight is the problem. We measure the room before recommending any of them.

Can an LED wall follow a curved architectural feature?

Yes, and it is one of the reasons this line comes up. TruVIEW MIP Flex uses a flexible cabinet that Media Resources states enables convex and concave installations across walls, columns and architectural features. In practice a curve turns a display project into a millwork project: the radius has to be constant enough for the cabinets to follow, the substructure has to hold that radius after the building settles, and the service access has to survive the curve. We work it out with the architect and the general contractor rather than discovering it on installation day.

Does Media Resources also make roadside billboards, and do you install those?

They make them; we do not install them. Their outdoor range — eQVISION and VISIONiQ, with the SITELINE light-control option available on both — is built for roadside, urban and out-of-home media, and they publish a light-control claim aimed at residential, airport, military and hospital neighbours. That is the work of out-of-home media operators and sign contractors, with permitting, structural and lighting-ordinance scopes we do not take on. They also build a TruVIEW Transit platform for bus shelters and passenger information. Our side of this brand is the indoor architectural work, and we would rather draw that line plainly than take a job we should not.

Who supports the wall in year four?

We do, and the manufacturer stands behind the parts. Media Resources publishes parts-warranty programmes at three, five and ten years across the TruVIEW indoor range, varying by platform, and operates North American service out of Canadian and US locations. On our side, every install carries a five-year workmanship warranty running from the final invoice, the equipment carries its manufacturer warranty, and you have our support for as long as you own the system. The practical part is planned at design: spare cabinets bought with the wall and stored with it, a documented service path for reaching every cabinet, and remote monitoring so a fault is noticed by us rather than reported by a visitor.
