★Authorized Dealer

Soundtrack · Kansas City.

IntegrateIT is an authorized Soundtrack dealer across the Kansas City metro — licensed business music for the restaurant, the shop floor, the gym and the office, scheduled by zone and played through a system designed for the room. The dealer agreement is our own, and what it covers on your job is confirmed on the proposal. It is a service, not a box, so beyond the paperwork our part is setting it up, installing the players and building the zones around it. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.

What Soundtrack does, and what we set up

Soundtrack is a music streaming service for businesses, licensed for commercial use per the service’s own terms. The features below are the ones on Soundtrack’s own site. We specify and install the hardware to order.

  • Zones. Different music in each area of the business. We map the zones to the amplifier channels so the bar and the dining room are separate in the speakers, not just in the app.
  • Scheduling. Music planned in advance by day-part and day of the week. We build the first schedule with you so lunch, dinner and late night each sound like themselves.
  • Playlists and an explicit-lyric filter. Ready-made playlists, your own, or playlists brought across from Spotify, with a filter for family-friendly rooms.
  • One dashboard, several locations. Every zone in every location managed from one place, with staff invited at the access level that fits their job.
  • The Soundtrack Player. A dedicated player that streams without a tablet or computer and keeps music stored on the device. We install it in the rack, on the network, wired to the amplifier.
  • Apps. The Soundtrack app on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows and Fire OS, for a manager who wants to skip a song or change a zone from the floor.
  • Integrations with the audio system. Soundtrack lists integrations with Q-SYS, Dante through Dante Director, Sonos, Ubiquiti UniFi, Audac, Axis, WiiM and Audio Pro. In a commercial room we usually bring it into the processing directly — see our Q-SYS and QSC pages for the hardware it plays through.

Why the music is only half the job

A good playlist through three speakers in a hard-surfaced room still sounds like a bad playlist. The speakers, their spacing, the amplifier headroom and the room treatment are what make the music sit underneath a conversation instead of on top of it. That is the work on our restaurant audio page, and for offices, retail and mixed-use buildings it sits inside our commercial AV work. Soundtrack is the source; the system is what people hear.

Common questions

Is IntegrateIT an authorized Soundtrack dealer?

Yes. IntegrateIT (Overland Park, KS) is an authorized Soundtrack dealer across the Kansas City metro, on both sides of the state line — restaurants, bars, retail floors, salons, gyms and offices. We set up the service, install the players, build the zones and the schedules, and connect it all to the speakers and amplifiers we design for the room — the installation around the music that makes it change when the room does. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.

What is Soundtrack, in plain terms?

A music streaming service built for businesses rather than for one person’s phone. It is licensed for commercial use per the service’s own terms. You choose or build playlists, schedule them across the day and the week, and play different music in different areas of the business, all managed from one dashboard. It also has an explicit-lyric filter, separate access levels for staff, and a way to bring playlists across from Spotify. We do not give licensing advice; the terms are the service’s own.

What hardware does Soundtrack play through?

Soundtrack lists its own Soundtrack Player, a dedicated box that streams without a tablet or computer and keeps music stored locally, plus apps for iOS, Android, macOS, Windows and Fire OS. It also lists integrations with Q-SYS, Dante (through Dante Director), Sonos, Ubiquiti UniFi, Audac, Axis, WiiM and Audio Pro, and Elgato Stream Deck for control. In a commercial install we usually put a Soundtrack Player in the rack, or bring Soundtrack straight into a Q-SYS system, rather than leaving the music on a manager’s phone.

Can different areas of the business play different music?

Yes, and that is most of the reason to install it properly. The bar, the dining room, the patio and the restrooms can each have their own music and their own schedule — slower at lunch, busier at night — and a business with several locations can manage them from one dashboard. The audio system has to match: each zone needs its own amplifier channel and its own level, which is the part we design.

What does the installation include?

The account set up with you, the players installed and on the network, the zones named the way your staff talk about the rooms, the schedules built, and the levels set in the room during the hours it is actually open. Every install carries our five-year workmanship warranty from the final invoice. When the menu, the hours or the floor plan change, the schedule can usually be changed remotely.

Tell us the rooms and the hours. We will set the music to match.
