★Authorized Dealer
Denon · Kansas City.
IntegrateIT is an authorized Denon dealer across the Kansas City metro — the receiver at the centre of a media room, the A-Series receiver that runs a full Dolby Atmos theater, and the HEOS amplifiers that put music in the kitchen and on the patio. The dealer agreement is our own, and the exact models for your room are confirmed on your proposal. Beyond the paperwork, we are the people who count the channels, place the speakers, wire the room, tie the receiver into the control system and calibrate it afterwards. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.
What we specify and install from Denon
The ranges below are the current ones on Denon’s own site, with Denon’s own channel counts. What Denon’s range puts forward is breadth: a receiver for almost every speaker count, from a 5.2 family room to a 15.4 theater, with HEOS streaming built in. We specify and install to order.
- A-Series AV receivers. The AVR-A1H at 15.4 channels and the AVR-A10H at 13.4. These are the receivers we would place in a dedicated theater with a full overhead layout and several subwoofers, where separates would otherwise be the answer.
- X-Series AV receivers. The AVR-X1800H, AVR-X2900H, AVR-X3900H, AVR-X4800H and AVR-X6800H, from 7.2 to 11.4 channels. This is where most of our media rooms and many Atmos theaters sit.
- S-Series AV receivers. The AVR-S570BT, AVR-S670H, AVR-S770H and AVR-S980H, from 5.2 to 7.2 channels — for a family room or a bonus room where the TV needs real sound without a dedicated room around it.
- DRA-900H stereo receiver. A two-channel receiver with HEOS, for a listening room or a living room that wants a stereo pair rather than surround.
- HEOS distribution amplifiers. The HEOS Drive HS2 eight-channel distribution amplifier, the HEOS Amplifier HS2, the Denon Home Amp, and the HEOS Link HS2 and HEOS Superlink HS2 preamplifiers. These are how we put streamed music into ceiling speakers room by room as part of whole-house audio.
- PMA integrated amplifiers. The PMA-600NE, PMA-900HNE, PMA-1700NE and PMA-3000NE, for a two-channel listening room built around a turntable or a stereo pair.
How we put a Denon receiver into a room
- Speakers first, receiver second. We lay out the bed and overhead speakers for the room, count the channels and the subwoofers, then choose the series. Buying the receiver first is how rooms end up with channels they cannot use, or not enough.
- Calibration with the room finished. The room correction is run with the furniture in, at the seats people actually use, and checked by ear afterwards. For a dedicated room this is part of our home theater work.
- One button, not five remotes. The receiver goes under the control system with the display, the sources and the lights, so the room turns on the same way every time.
- Ventilation and the rack. A receiver driving many channels makes heat. Where it lives — a cabinet, a closet rack — is planned for airflow before the cabinetry is built.
Where Denon sits beside the lines we also install
We are an authorized dealer for Marantz as well. Marantz’s own site leads with its CINEMA receivers and its separate processors and power amplifiers, so it comes up when a room wants separates or a particular look; Denon comes up when the channel count is high or the job includes HEOS through the house. For a dedicated theater where the processor is its own decision, we also carry Trinnov.
Common questions
Is IntegrateIT an authorized Denon dealer?
Yes. IntegrateIT (Overland Park, KS) is an authorized Denon dealer across the Kansas City metro, on both sides of the state line — home theaters, media rooms, family rooms and whole-home audio. We decide the channel count, place the speakers, specify the receiver against that layout, wire the room, run the room calibration and tie it into the control system so it is not the fifth remote on the table. We specify and install to order rather than selling boxes off a shelf, so the model on your proposal comes off the room drawing. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.
Which Denon series fits my room?
Channel count decides most of it. The S-Series runs from 5.2 to 7.2 channels and suits a family room or a smaller media room. The X-Series runs from 7.2 to 11.4 channels — the range most Dolby Atmos media rooms and dedicated theaters land in. The A-Series, the AVR-A10H at 13.4 channels and the AVR-A1H at 15.4, are for a theater with a full overhead layout and more than one subwoofer. We count the speakers first and pick the receiver second, with a channel or two of headroom.
How is Denon different from Marantz?
Both build AV receivers with Dolby Atmos and HEOS streaming, and we are an authorized dealer for both. On their own sites Denon puts forward the breadth of its receiver range and channel counts up to 15.4 in one chassis, plus HEOS amplifiers for music through the house; Marantz puts forward its CINEMA receivers and its separate processors and power amplifiers. In practice we choose on channel count, on whether the room wants separates, and on the look of the unit if it lives in the room rather than in a rack.
Can Denon run music in the rest of the house?
Yes. HEOS is built into Denon’s receivers, and Denon’s HEOS amplifier range — the HEOS Drive HS2, an eight-channel distribution amplifier, the HEOS Amplifier HS2 and the Denon Home Amp — can drive in-ceiling speakers room by room. The HEOS Link HS2 and HEOS Superlink HS2 bring HEOS to an amplifier that does not have it. That is one of the ways we build whole-house audio, and it can sit under a control system so the keypad and the app agree.
What happens after the install?
The receiver is calibrated in the room with the furniture in place, the settings are recorded in your portal, and the control system is programmed so one button turns the room on. Every install carries our five-year workmanship warranty from the final invoice.
Tell us the room and the speakers you want. We will size the receiver.
