★Authorized Dealer
Marantz · Kansas City.
IntegrateIT is an authorized Marantz dealer across the Kansas City metro — a CINEMA receiver in a media room, a slimline unit in a living-room cabinet, and AV and AMP separates at the back of a dedicated theater. The dealer agreement is our own, and the exact models for your room are confirmed on your proposal. Beyond the paperwork, we are the people who lay out the speakers, size the electronics, wire the room, bring it under the control system and calibrate it afterwards. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.
What we specify and install from Marantz
The ranges below are the current ones on Marantz’s own site, with Marantz’s own channel counts. What Marantz’s range puts forward is two things: the CINEMA receivers, and a set of separate processors and power amplifiers for rooms that outgrow a receiver. We specify and install to order.
- CINEMA Series receivers — CINEMA 30 and CINEMA 40. The CINEMA 30 at 11.4 channels and the CINEMA 40 at 9.4. We place them in a dedicated theater or a large media room with an overhead layout, where one chassis is still the right answer.
- CINEMA SERIES 2 — CINEMA 50 SERIES 2 and CINEMA 60 SERIES 2. The CINEMA 50 SERIES 2 at 9.4 channels with Dirac Live room correction, and the CINEMA 60 SERIES 2 at 7.2. These suit a Dolby Atmos media room or a family room that takes its sound seriously.
- CINEMA 70s SERIES 2. A slimline 7.2-channel receiver. It is the one we would put in a living room where the electronics sit in a shallow cabinet in plain view.
- AV processors — AV 10, AV 20 and AV 30. Marantz lists the AV 10 as a pre-amplifier/processor and the AV 20 and AV 30 as AV preamplifiers. A processor handles the decoding and the room correction and leaves amplification to a separate chassis — the arrangement we use in a dedicated home theater with a high channel count.
- Power amplifiers — AMP 10, AMP 20 and AMP 30. Marantz pairs these with its processors and, in the AMP 30’s case, with CINEMA receivers to add channels. We size them to the speakers and the room, and rack them where the heat can go somewhere.
How we put Marantz into a room
- Speakers first. The bed and overhead layout comes off the room, then the channel count, then the choice between a CINEMA receiver and separates.
- Measured, then listened to. Room correction is run with the room finished and checked by ear. In a treated theater it is the last step, not the first.
- Seen or hidden. Marantz is often chosen because it will be seen. When it is, we plan the cabinet, the airflow and the cable path so the front of the unit is the only thing visible.
- Under one control system. The processor, the display, the sources and the lights answer to one button, so the room starts the same way every time.
Where Marantz sits beside the lines we also install
We are an authorized dealer for Denon as well, and it comes up when the channel count is high in one receiver or when HEOS amplifiers are running music through the house. Marantz comes up when the room wants separates or a unit that looks right in the open. In a dedicated theater where the processor is its own decision, we also carry Trinnov.
Common questions
Is IntegrateIT an authorized Marantz dealer?
Yes. IntegrateIT (Overland Park, KS) is an authorized Marantz dealer across the Kansas City metro, on both sides of the state line — home theaters, Dolby Atmos media rooms and living rooms where the electronics sit in plain view. We do the work around the box: the speaker layout, the receiver or separates specified against it, the wiring, the calibration, the control system and the handover. We specify and install to order rather than selling boxes off a shelf, so the models on your proposal come off the room drawing. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.
Should I choose a CINEMA receiver or separates?
A CINEMA receiver puts the processing and the amplification in one chassis — the CINEMA 30 at 11.4 channels, the CINEMA 40 and CINEMA 50 SERIES 2 at 9.4, the CINEMA 60 SERIES 2 and the slimline CINEMA 70s SERIES 2 at 7.2. Separates split the job: an AV 10, AV 20 or AV 30 processor in front of AMP 10, AMP 20 or AMP 30 power amplifiers. Separates make sense in a dedicated theater with many channels, or when the plan is to add amplification later. A media room usually does not need them.
How is Marantz different from Denon?
We are an authorized dealer for both. On their own sites Marantz leads with its CINEMA receivers — including a slimline model for a shallow cabinet, and Dirac Live room correction on the CINEMA 50 SERIES 2 — and with its separate processors and power amplifiers. Denon leads with the breadth of its receiver range, channel counts up to 15.4 in one receiver, and HEOS amplifiers for whole-home audio. We choose on the channel count, on whether the room wants separates, and on whether the unit will be seen.
Does a Marantz system still need calibration?
Yes — every one. The room correction built into the unit is only as good as the measurement behind it, so we run it with the furniture in, at the seats people use, and check it by ear afterwards. For a dedicated room that is part of our home theater scope, and for a theater where the processor itself is the main decision, we also carry Trinnov.
What happens after the install?
The calibration and settings are recorded in your portal, the control system is programmed so one button brings the room up, and you get a short walkthrough. Every install carries our five-year workmanship warranty from the final invoice.
Tell us the room and the speakers. We will size the electronics.
