IntegrateIT is an authorized TrackMan dealer for the Kansas City metro — and, more usefully, the people who build the bay the unit goes in. A launch monitor is the part that arrives in a carton. The ceiling it mounts to, the throw the projector has, the light landing on the screen, the circuit, the network drop and the one button that starts all of it are the parts that decide whether you use the room. What we carry and install from TrackMan

The lines below are the ones TrackMan sells today, named the way the manufacturer names them — the products are styled with a lowercase m on trackman.com, which is why they read differently from the brand name we use across the rest of this site. We specify and install to order; we do not hold stock.

• Trackman iO. The manufacturer’s purpose-built indoor unit, mounted on the ceiling above the hitting area so nothing sits on the floor beside you. It is what we specify most for a dedicated room. Goes into a home simulator build.
• Trackman iO DUO. The variant for narrow bays. TrackMan states it lets right- and left-handed players comfortably share bays as narrow as ten feet wide, which is the number a lot of Johnson County basements actually have.
• Trackman 4. The portable dual-technology launch monitor that works indoors and outdoors — the unit to specify when it has to travel to a lesson or a fitting and come back to the bay.
• Trackman iO Home. The manufacturer’s home simulator package built around the iO, for a room that does not have to be large to be right.
• Trackman iO Commercial. The venue package, sold as a custom integrated build, a Flex Cage or tech-only. This is the one we quote for commercial simulator bays.
• Custom Integrated Build and Flex Cage. TrackMan’s two build-outs. The integrated build is permanent structural work; the Flex Cage is free-standing and needs none, which is what a finished basement or a leased space usually wants.
• Trackman Performance Studio and Virtual Golf 3. The desktop software the unit runs on and the course engine the room plays on. Both want a wired drop and a PC with somewhere cool to live — which is a rack question, not an afterthought.
• Trackman Range and Trackman 360. The range-side ball tracking and the facility platform that adds booking, payment and bay analytics — relevant to clubs, ranges and venues rather than houses, and integrated alongside signage and the venue network.

How the bay gets designed around it

Four measurements come first, and they settle the enclosure, the projector and the mounting position before anyone opens a catalog. Clear height under the lowest obstruction across the whole swing area, not at the tee — a basement can have a fine number where you stand and fail two feet away where a driver comes through. Depth from the screen to behind the hitting position, which sets the throw. Width, for the follow-through and, with the DUO, for two handednesses. And where the beams and duct runs land, because moving one is a general-contractor conversation.

Then the order matters. Framing and any structural work, then low-voltage rough-in while the walls are open — projector feed, network drop, speaker locations, lighting control and conduit to the rack. Then the enclosure, screen, turf and hitting strip. The unit is mounted and aligned after the flooring and the enclosure are in rather than before, because both move the reference. Programming and the light scene happen last, once the room is finished. The quiet failure mode is the mount. A ceiling unit fixed into drywall, or onto a bracket with any flex in it, does not stop working — it drifts. The numbers stay in a believable range and slowly stop describing your swing, and because nothing looks broken you spend a season trusting them. We mount into structure and re-check the alignment after the room is finished, which is the whole reason we would rather do the mounting than inherit it.

Where it sits beside the other lines we carry

• Foresight Sports. Camera-based, in a floor-standing unit or an overhead one. A dealer line for us too, and the comparison is written neutrally rather than as a sales page.
• Uneekor. The other overhead dealer line. If the ceiling will not give an overhead mount what it needs, neither this page nor that one is the answer, and you will hear it on the walk.
• Carl’s Place. Enclosures, impact screens and turf, carried and installed. Carl’s builds a package around Trackman 4; we size the enclosure to the room instead of to a catalog default.
• The rest of the bay. Sonance or Triad ceiling speakers so nothing sits in the swing path, Lutron lighting on a scene, Ubiquiti for the wired drop, and Control4 or Crestron Home in front of it so one press starts the projector, the lights and the PC.
