★Carried & Installed
LEA Professional amplifiers · Kansas City.
IntegrateIT carries and installs LEA Professional across the Kansas City metro — network amplifiers behind a restaurant’s dining room, a corporate floor, a school or a larger home, with the Dante, DSP and remote control that let somebody other than the installer run them. One precision first: LEA Professional is a line we carry and install under distribution, not one we hold our own dealer agreement on, so we do not call ourselves an authorized LEA Professional dealer. What we are is the people who count the zones, size the rack, wire it, and commission what we install. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.
What we carry and install from LEA Professional
LEA Professional describes itself as a developer of smart amplifiers and technologies for professional AV system integrators, and lists cinema, corporate, education, government, hospitality, houses of worship, marine and cruise ships, residential, stadiums and arenas, and transportation among its markets. The families below are the ones listed on its own site, in its own spelling; we specify, install and commission to order.
- Network Connect Series. LEA describes these as IoT-enabled smart amplifiers for small to medium installations, in the models 84, 164, 88, 168, 352, 354, 702, 704 and 1504. The numbers are LEA’s model names; the data sheet gives the channel count and load for each, and we read it for every site. That size of rack is a natural fit for the zones in our restaurant audio designs.
- Dante Connect Series. The same models with a D suffix — 84D, 88D, 164D, 168D, 352D, 354D, 702D, 704D and 1504D — for sites that carry audio over a Dante network rather than analog cable.
- Half-rack models and the 3004. The 34, 62, 64, 122 and 124, and their D versions, are listed as half-rack IoT-enabled smart amplifiers, and the Connect Series 3004 and 3004D appear on the same page by name only. Half-rack amplifiers suit a small closet or a back-of-house shelf where a full rack is not available.
- Connect Series ADSP. The 352-ADSP, 354-ADSP, 702-ADSP and 704-ADSP, and their D versions, which LEA describes as IoT-enabled smart amplifiers with advanced DSP. The G models (354-G, 354D-G, 702-G, 704-G, 704D-G, 1504-G and 1504D-G) are listed without a description, so we read the data sheet before specifying one.
- Cinema Digital Series. The CDS352, CDS354, CDS702, CDS704 and CDS1504, which LEA describes as IoT-enabled smart amplifiers with AES67. Cinema is one of the markets on LEA’s list; whether the series suits a residential room is a design question we answer from the data sheet, alongside our home theater work.
- Connect Series Touch and Glass. LEA lists the Touch as a wall-mounted, touch-enabled control panel for remote control of its amplifiers, and the Glass as a touch-enabled, wall-mounted interface for the same job. They put control of the amplifiers on a wall where a manager or a homeowner can reach it, instead of only at the rack.
- LEA Cloud, Sharkware and WebUI. LEA Cloud is listed as remote control and monitoring for the LEA Professional Connect Series amplifiers, Sharkware as amplifier control software that is free for Windows and Mac, and WebUI as a browser-based interface for control, configuration and monitoring. Between them they are how a smart amplifier is seen from outside the rack.
How we put LEA Professional into a site
An amplifier is the part of a commercial audio system nobody looks at until something is wrong. LEA’s amplifiers are designed to be monitored remotely, which changes how we design around them.
- Zone plan before model number. We count zones, loads and headroom first, then choose the family and the size. A model number is a name, not a promise about channels, so the data sheet for the chosen model is open on the table when we draw the rack.
- Choose the network version on purpose. The Network Connect and Dante Connect families are not interchangeable in a given site: it depends on whether the sources and any processor already speak Dante. The audio rides on its own lane with its own switch capacity, which is what our commercial networking scope covers.
- Decide where the processing lives. The ADSP models process inside the amplifier; other designs process upstream in a separate unit. Pick one place for it, and write down which.
- Give the person who runs it a control surface. A manager adjusts a zone from the Touch, the Glass or the WebUI, so nobody has to open the rack to turn the music down.
- Commission and document. Gain, equalization and delay are set per zone and saved; network addresses, firmware versions, presets and the cloud and WebUI logins land in your portal with the rest of the project record.
Where LEA Professional sits beside the other lines we carry
LEA Professional is a network-first amplifier line, so the honest comparison is with the other commercial amplification we carry. Powersoft lists install amplifiers in the PRIMA and Duecanali families with DSP and Dante or AES67 versions — read its page when two manufacturers’ rack products are the choice. When the room is a Q-SYS design the amplifiers are that platform’s own network amplifiers, covered on our Q-SYS page. And for a house rather than a business, NAD’s Custom Install series is the multichannel DSP rack line built for distributed residential audio.
Common questions
Who installs LEA Professional amplifiers in Kansas City?
IntegrateIT (Overland Park, KS) carries and installs LEA Professional across the Kansas City metro — restaurants and bars, corporate and school spaces, and larger homes, on both sides of the state line. To be precise about the relationship, because the trade is sloppy about this word: LEA Professional is a line we carry and install under distribution, not one we hold our own dealer agreement on, so we do not call ourselves an authorized LEA Professional dealer. What we do is design the zones, size the rack, wire it and commission it. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.
What does LEA Professional make?
Amplifiers and the controls around them. LEA’s site groups them as the Network Connect Series, the Dante Connect Series, the half-rack models, the Connect Series ADSP with advanced DSP, the G models and the Cinema Digital Series, and lists the Connect Series Touch and Glass wall interfaces, LEA Cloud for remote control and monitoring, Sharkware control software and the browser-based WebUI. It describes itself as a developer of smart amplifiers and technologies for professional AV system integrators.
What is the difference between Network Connect and Dante Connect?
LEA lists the Dante Connect Series as the Dante versions of the Network Connect models, marked with a D suffix. The choice is about the rest of the system: if the sources and any processor already speak Dante, a Dante version lets the audio travel on the network instead of on analog cable between rack and amplifier. If they do not, the plain network version avoids specifying a feature the site will not use. We decide it from the source list, and we plan the network lane at the same time.
What does “smart amplifier” mean in practice?
LEA describes its amplifiers as IoT-enabled, cloud connected and open to third-party control. In practice you can see and change an amplifier’s state without standing at the rack: in a browser through the WebUI, through the Sharkware control software on Windows or Mac, or remotely through LEA Cloud. That is useful for a restaurant whose manager is not on site, and for us when a service call can begin as a remote look. It is also a network connection and a set of logins to look after, which is why we record both at handover.
Do you use LEA Professional in homes as well as businesses?
LEA lists residential among its markets, and we use it where the zone count, the hours of use or the need for network control justify a commercial-style amplifier. For the ordinary multi-room house our whole-house audio page covers the usual residential rack. The test is the same either way: who will run the system, and how will they find out when something is wrong.
What happens after the install?
The rack is commissioned and written into your portal: model and serial numbers, firmware versions, network addresses, the presets for each zone and the control logins. Every install carries our five-year workmanship warranty from the final invoice. If the room changes — a new dining room, a zone split — we come back and retune rather than leaving you to guess.
Tell us the rooms and who has to run them. The rack follows.
