Séura outdoor & mirror TVs · Kansas City.
IntegrateIT carries and installs Séura across the Kansas City metro — TV mirrors that read as a mirror until the television is switched on, LED lighted mirrors for bathrooms and dressing rooms, and the outdoor televisions Séura lists. One precision first, because the trade is sloppy about this word: Séura is a line we carry and install under distribution, not one we hold our own dealer agreement on, so we do not call ourselves an authorized Séura dealer. What we are is the people who measure the wall, run the cables before the glass is ordered, and commission the television behind it. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.
What we carry and install from Séura
Séura describes itself as a maker of mirrors and TV solutions for indoor spaces, with residential, hospitality and commercial lines, and says every one of its TV mirrors is made to order in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The product names below are Séura’s, read off its own site. We specify, install and commission to order.
- Vanity TV Mirrors. Séura describes them as mirrors that bring video into bathrooms, dressing rooms and spas. A bathroom is the room where a black rectangle on the wall is the problem, and where the cable, the power and the moisture all need deciding before the glass is cut.
- Entertainment TV Mirrors. A mirror that becomes a television when switched on, for a living room, a bar or a media corner where the wall should read as part of the room. They come up in our media room work when the room has to do two jobs.
- TV Mirror Walls. The larger installations: a mirror when off, a television when on. At this size the structure, the seams and the access behind the wall become the main questions.
- Round TV Mirror. A round mirror that shows a television when on and blends into a dining room or home bar when off.
- Lighted mirrors. The Classic Design Collection on Séura’s site names Allegro, Halo, Forte, Veda and Lumin LED lighted mirrors in rectangular, rounded-rectangle, round and full-length shapes. Séura describes bright, natural light; the lighting around the mirror is a separate decision that sits with our smart lighting design.
- Custom mirrors and frames. Séura’s customization page lists a single mirror up to 94 by 70 inches, multi-piece mirror walls, arches, cut-outs for fixtures and faucets, a choice of frames and lighting styles, and for a TV mirror the television size, its position within the mirror and surface or recessed mounting. Touch-control dimming, a defogger and a night light are listed as add-ons.
- Outdoor televisions. On Séura’s site today the outdoor sets appear only in its outlet listing rather than in a main category: a Full Sun Series 50 inch outdoor TV, covers for the Full Sun Series and the Shade Series 2, and a waterproof IR remote. Because that listing changes, we confirm the current outdoor model with Séura before one goes into a design. The exposure questions are the ones on our outdoor TV installation page.
How we put Séura into a room
A TV mirror is made to order, so a mistake in the drawing is a remake rather than an adjustment.
- Measure the wall, not the catalogue. Stud positions, the depth available for a recessed mount, the distance to seating, and where the window sits, because a mirror shows the room as well as the picture.
- Cable before glass. Power, the video path and the control path are run behind the mirror position at rough-in, which is why a TV mirror belongs in the plan of a new construction or remodel before drywall closes. Which television goes behind the glass is settled with you and Séura before the order is placed.
- One button. The television behind the mirror is controlled like any other: power, source and volume from the touch panel or the app, so the mirror turns into a television without a remote on the vanity. See smart home automation.
- Picture set with the glass in place. A panel seen through a mirror front is not the same viewing condition as a bare panel, so we set brightness and colour with the glass on the wall and in the light the room has when it is used. The method is on our calibration page.
- Documented. Order details, mirror and cut-out dimensions, the television model, the circuit and the control settings go into your project record, so a service call or a later remodel starts from a drawing.
Where Séura sits beside the other lines we carry
We carry more than one way to make a screen belong to a room. Samsung is the answer when the television can stay visible on the wall, indoors or, with its Terrace line, outdoors. C SEED fits when the screen should fold away rather than sit behind glass. For an outdoor wall where the sun exposure decides the model, Furrion is the line to compare, because its Aurora televisions are sorted by how much sun they face. Séura is the one to reach for when the room is a bathroom, a bar or a dining room and the glass itself is part of the design.
Common questions
Who installs Séura TV mirrors in Kansas City?
IntegrateIT (Overland Park, KS) carries and installs Séura across the Kansas City metro — bathrooms, dressing rooms, bars and dining rooms in Johnson County, Kansas City, Missouri and Lee’s Summit. To be precise about the relationship, because the trade is sloppy about this word: Séura is a line we carry and install under distribution, not one we hold our own dealer agreement on, so we do not call ourselves an authorized Séura dealer. We specify, install and commission to order. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.
What is a TV mirror, and where does it go?
A TV mirror is a mirror with a television behind the glass: Séura describes its TV mirrors as mirrors that become a TV when switched on. It lists four lines — Vanity TV Mirrors for bathrooms, dressing rooms and spas; Entertainment TV Mirrors; TV Mirror Walls for larger installations; and a Round TV Mirror for dining rooms and home bars. They suit a room where a black rectangle on the wall is the problem and a mirror is welcome: a bathroom, a bar, a dining room.
Can the mirror be sized and finished for my room?
Séura’s customization page lists a single mirror up to 94 by 70 inches, multi-piece mirror walls, arches, cut-outs for fixtures and faucets, a choice of frames and lighting styles and, for a TV mirror, the television size, its position within the mirror and surface or recessed mounting. Touch-control dimming, a defogger and a night light are listed as add-ons. Séura makes its TV mirrors to order, so the measurements and cut-outs are fixed on a site walk, before the order, and not afterwards.
Does Séura make outdoor TVs?
Séura lists outdoor televisions, but on its site today they appear in its outlet listing rather than in a main outdoor category: a Full Sun Series 50 inch outdoor TV, covers for the Full Sun Series and the Shade Series 2, and a waterproof IR remote. Séura describes its products overall as mirrors and TV solutions for indoor spaces. For that reason we confirm the current outdoor model with Séura before it goes into a design, and where an outdoor wall is the job we also carry Furrion and SunBriteTV for comparison.
How is the picture set up behind the glass?
With the glass in place. A panel seen through a mirror front is not the same viewing condition as a bare panel, so settings that suit a bare television are a starting point rather than an answer. We check brightness, colour and the room’s reflections in the light the room has when it is used, and the settings go into your project record. Our calibration page describes the method.
What happens after a Séura mirror is installed?
The install is documented: order details, dimensions, cut-outs, the television model, the circuit and the control settings go into your project record. Séura publishes its own terms for its products and we do not restate them. Our installation carries a five-year workmanship warranty from the final invoice. If something misbehaves, the same office that installed it takes the call.
