What we specify and install from Steinway Lyngdorf

Steinway Lyngdorf makes both loudspeakers and the processing that corrects them to the room, which is why we design it as a system rather than picking a speaker off a list. The range below is what the manufacturer’s own site showed on 2026-10-07; we specify and install to order, and the exact models go on your proposal once the room is drawn:

• Freestanding loudspeakers. Model D, Model B, Model A, Model O, Model C and the Model S-15, with the LS Concert and LS Studio line sources for a large, deep room and a long listening distance, and a Marine speaker for outdoor use. In a dedicated two-channel room we design the placement, the treatment and the correction in the same scope.
• In-wall loudspeakers. The Model M left, right and center, the stackable LS left, right and center, and the IW-16, IW-26V, IW-26H, IW-66, X-261 and X-262, for a front stage that disappears into the wall.
• Loudspeakers for a theater. Across the front stage and the surrounds of a dedicated theater that has to play film and music equally well, laid out for the Atmos channel plan the room calls for.
• Processors and amplifiers. The P100 and P300 2.1 surround processors, the SP-1 stereo processor and the A1 and A2 amplifiers, all with RoomPerfect room correction set up from measurements taken at the seats once the speakers are placed and the room is treated.

How we design a room around it

• The room is drawn first. Room size, seating distance and the balance between music and film decide the system. Nothing is chosen before the drawing exists.
• Correction does not replace design. Room correction does more on a room that is already well laid out, so acoustic treatment and placement come before the measurement, not after it.
• Placement and wiring are planned at rough-in. Speaker positions, wire runs, power and the rack location are on the drawing before the walls close.
• It answers to the house. The system is integrated with Control4 or Crestron where the house has one, so it is controlled from the keypad or remote the family already uses.
• We measure at handover. Every room is measured and calibrated, and the measurements stay in your project record. Our five-year workmanship warranty runs from the final invoice.
