What a project like this involves

A video project distributes the sources from the rack to the displays, so a single cable box, streamer or movie server serves several rooms and every screen gets the same remote and the same menu.

Outdoor screens, where they exist, get their own exposure-rated display and a run back to the rack.

• Video. Displays in the rooms that want them, with the sources distributed from the rack so one box serves several screens.
• Control system. The layer that ties the rooms together: one app, keypads and scenes, so lighting, audio, video and shades answer to the same press.
• Distributed audio. Speakers in the ceilings and walls, zoned by room, with the amplification in the rack and one app or keypad to pick the source.
• Structured wiring. The cable behind the drywall — category cable, speaker wire, conduit and the panel they land on — run before the walls close.
• Equipment rack. The rack that holds the electronics, with managed power, ventilation and labelled cabling so the system can be serviced.
