★Carried & Installed
Cineak theater seating · Kansas City.
IntegrateIT carries and installs Cineak across the Kansas City metro — recliners, sofas, loungers and sectionals for a dedicated theater or a media room, made to order in Belgium, with the motorized mechanisms, lighting and charging specified into the room rather than left to the delivery. One precision first, because the trade is sloppy about this word: Cineak is a line we carry and install under distribution, not one we hold our own dealer agreement on, so we do not call ourselves an authorized Cineak dealer. What we are is the people who draw the room before the seats are ordered, run the power to every position, and set the seating once the room is finished. What we carry and install from Cineak
Cineak describes itself as a Belgian maker that combines craftsmanship with design, and says every seating configuration is made to order. The model, category and technology names below are Cineak’s own, as its pages spell them. We specify, install and commission to order, and the room is drawn before a model is picked.
- Home theater models. Cineak lists Chess, Ferrier, Fortuny, Gramercy, Harv, Hughes, Largo, Mondrian, Nero, Ollie, Strato and Trevia for the theater, plus Stools. It organises them by category: Recliner, Sofa, Lounger, Sectionals, Custom and Love Seat. The drawing for a home theater picks from that list.
- Living and media room models. Cineak lists Dune, Gramercy, Harv, Largo, Mondrian, Ollie, Strato, Trevia and Vela under the same categories for the room that is also a living room. It is the part of the range that fits a media room where the seating has to look at home when the screen is off.
- Motorized mechanisms. Cineak names dual- and triple-motorized mechanisms with illuminated keypads and preset functions, electronic lumbar support and motorized articulating headrests. Every motor is a power point at the seat, which is a wiring decision made while the floor is still open.
- Comfort, light and charging. Cineak names heating and cooling ventilation, LED lighting and USB and USB-C charging among its technologies, along with home automation integration. We confirm on the specific model which of these it offers and which control systems it connects to before it goes on the drawing, and bring it into the room’s scenes through our home automation work where it does.
- Upholstery. Cineak works in leathers and designer fabrics, names Florian Designs and Acoustical as fabric collections, and accepts customer’s own material and customer’s own leather. We hold the material codes in the project record so a later seat matches the first.
- Accessories. Cineak lists Cupholder Tables, Reading Lights, Side Tables and Technology under accessories. These are choices to make at the drawing, because a reading light and a side table both need a place and a feed.
- Made to order in Belgium. Cineak says every seating configuration is made to order and handcrafted in Belgium, with design details and materials chosen by the customer. That is why we draw first and order from a signed drawing, rather than a floor sample.
How we put Cineak into a room
A made-to-order seat is only as good as the drawing it is ordered from. These are the steps that make the drawing right.
- The room is drawn first. Screen size, viewing distance, riser height, row depth and aisle width go on one drawing, with the seat footprint and recline clearance from the model’s own information. We confirm the configuration before the order is placed.
- Power to every position. Motorized mechanisms, illuminated keypads, heating, ventilation, LED lighting and USB charging all want a feed at the seat. We run it while the riser is open and label every run, so a seat can be moved or replaced without a search.
- Materials signed off in the room. Leather and fabric read differently under the room’s own light. We bring samples to the room, record the material codes, and sign off before the order is placed.
- Control decided on the model. Where home automation integration is wanted, we confirm the control path on the chosen model, then program preset functions into the room’s scenes where it is supported. Our smart home automation scope covers the programming.
- Seats are part of the acoustic plan. A row of seats is the largest soft surface in the room. We set the seating and the room’s acoustic treatment together, and record the model, options and feed locations with the rest of the project.
Where Cineak sits beside the other lines we carry
Cineak is the one to read when the brief is made-to-order seating with motorized headrests, lumbar support and ventilation, built in Belgium. Cinematech is worth reading when the plan wants a swivel chair or acoustic wall fabric from the same maker, and Elite HTS when the front row is a theater bed or a sectional. Fortress Seating is the one for a chair built to an order with a long accessory list and custom sizes. We draw the room before we recommend one.
Common questions
Who installs Cineak seating in Kansas City?
IntegrateIT (Overland Park, KS) carries and installs Cineak across the Kansas City metro — dedicated theaters and media rooms in Johnson County and Kansas City, Missouri, and larger properties out to Lee’s Summit. To be precise about the relationship, because the trade is sloppy about this word: Cineak is a line we carry and install under distribution, not one we hold our own dealer agreement on, so we do not call ourselves an authorized Cineak dealer. We specify, install and commission Cineak seating to order. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.
Which Cineak models do you install?
Cineak lists Chess, Ferrier, Fortuny, Gramercy, Harv, Hughes, Largo, Mondrian, Nero, Ollie, Strato and Trevia for home theaters, and Dune, Gramercy, Harv, Largo, Mondrian, Ollie, Strato, Trevia and Vela for living and media rooms, plus Stools. They come in Recliner, Sofa, Lounger, Sectionals, Custom and Love Seat categories. We carry the range and choose the model from the drawing, not from a name.
What does motorized mean on a Cineak seat?
Cineak names dual- and triple-motorized mechanisms with illuminated keypads and preset functions, electronic lumbar support and motorized articulating headrests. Which of those a given model offers is the thing to confirm before it is ordered. Every motor needs power at the seat, so we plan the feeds with the seat count and run them while the riser is open.
Can I choose my own leather or fabric?
Cineak says it works in leathers and designer fabrics and accepts customer’s own material and customer’s own leather, and its menu names two fabric collections, Florian Designs and Acoustical. We bring samples into the room, because material reads differently under real light, and we record the material codes so a later seat matches the first.
Does a Cineak seat connect to home automation?
Cineak lists home automation integration among its technologies, alongside LED lighting, USB and USB-C charging, and heating and cooling ventilation. Which control systems a given model connects to is for Cineak to confirm per model. We check that before the model goes on the drawing and program the preset functions into the room’s scenes where it is supported.
What does a Cineak install involve, and what happens afterwards?
A site walk first, then the room drawn with screen, rows, riser, power and aisle. Then the specification in writing — model, category, materials, options — before anything is ordered, because Cineak makes every configuration to order. Then installation and commissioning: seats placed, motors and keypads tested, presets set where supported. Model, material codes and feed locations are recorded with the rest of the project. Our installation carries a five-year workmanship warranty from the final invoice.
