Authorized Dealer

MantelMount · Kansas City.

IntegrateIT is an authorized MantelMount dealer across the Kansas City metro — the pull-down mount that brings a TV from above the fireplace down to eye level, the motorized MM815 that does it from a remote, and the MAX1 for a wall that wants a full range of motion. The authorization is ours, and the exact mount for your wall is confirmed on your proposal. Beyond the paperwork, we are the people who measure the mantel, find the studs, run the cable behind the mount and set it up with the TV on it. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.

What we specify and install from MantelMount

The mounts below are the five current ones on MantelMount’s own site, with its own figures. What the range is built around is a TV that has to sit high on a wall and still be watched at seated height. We specify and install to order.

  • MM815 Motorized Drop Down & Swivel. An RF remote with two memory presets for the drop and swivel, and a 26-inch drop with a 30-degree swivel each way. Listed for TVs of 45 to 90 inches and 20 to 115 pounds, for a mantel up to 16 inches deep. This is the one for a room where the TV is large or the person using it should not have to pull.
  • MAX1 Full Motion. A 29-inch drop and a 40-degree swivel each way, 3 inches from the wall, for a mantel up to 20 inches deep. It is listed for TVs of 50 to 86 inches with a sound bar, 55 to 86 without, and up to 90 pounds. We reach for it when the wall also needs sideways movement, for a seating plan that is not square to the fireplace.
  • MM700. A manual pull-down in 3 mm steel, with a 26-inch drop, a 30-degree swivel each way and 9 degrees of downward tilt. It reaches studs up to 28 inches apart and has a sound bar attachment built in. Listed for TVs of 45 to 90 inches and 30 to 115 pounds.
  • MM540 Enhanced. A manual pull-down with a 27-inch drop, a 30-degree swivel each way and 9 degrees of tilt, for a mantel up to 18 inches deep and TVs of 20 to 90 pounds. The mount for a mid-size set where the MM700’s extra weight rating is not needed.
  • MM340 Standard. A manual pull-down with a 27-inch drop and a 30-degree swivel each way, listed for TVs of 44 to 80 inches and 20 to 90 pounds, with pull-down handles. MantelMount lists no motorized version of it.
  • The parts around them. The RB100 recess box, which folds the centre arm into the wall for a 1.8-inch gap; the SBK00 and SBXL sound bar adapters; the SSB40 and AB40 wall adapters; the GS60 spacer for thin TV panels; the EC43 cable boxes that thread into two-inch conduit behind the mount; and the WPC00 paintable covers for the MM340. MantelMount also lists a Professional Series, the MM860, MAX2, MM750 and MM720, which is its own program; ask us before assuming one for a job.

How we put a MantelMount onto a wall

  • The TV first, then the mount. We take the set’s weight, size and VESA pattern, then check them against the mount’s listed range. MantelMount’s GS60 page names OLED televisions as a common case for a wobble at the top edge, so we look for it with the screen on the arm. We carry LG and Sony televisions among others.
  • The mantel and the swing. A mantel inside the listed depth still limits how far the screen can swing, so we measure the mantel, the wall beside it and the seat the TV is pulled toward. The full job, including the heat question over a working firebox, is on our TV mounting and concealment page.
  • Framing before the cable. We find the studs and, over stone or brick, work out what is behind the surface. Power, HDMI and any speaker wire run behind the wall before it is closed, in conduit where the room allows it, so a later TV does not mean opening the wall again.
  • Set up with the screen on it. We adjust the stops and the tilt with the TV hanging, set the MM815’s presets with the family in the seats, and leave the sound bar level with the screen. In a media room the mount is part of the drawing, not an afterthought.
  • Indoors only. MantelMount does not advise or rate these mounts for outdoor use. A set on a covered porch is an outdoor TV installation with its own hardware.

Where MantelMount sits beside the other lines we carry

A MantelMount decides where the TV sits and how it moves; it does not decide what the room sounds like or whether the TV should be visible at all. When sound should stay off the moving mount, we are an authorized dealer for Definitive Technology, whose in-wall and in-ceiling speakers keep the sound out of the way, and for Denon, whose receiver drives them from a rack. When the answer is a wall with no TV on it at all, we carry Séura mirror televisions, which Séura’s own site leads with.

Questions

Common questions

Is IntegrateIT an authorized MantelMount dealer?

Yes. IntegrateIT (Overland Park, KS) is an authorized MantelMount dealer across the Kansas City metro, on both sides of the state line — fireplace walls, media rooms, family rooms and bedrooms where the TV has to sit high. We measure the mantel and the wall, choose the mount against the TV’s weight, size and VESA pattern, locate the framing, run the cable and set the mount up with the screen on it. We specify and install to order rather than selling boxes off a shelf, so the model on your proposal comes off the wall survey. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.

Which MantelMount fits my fireplace?

Mantel depth and the TV decide it. MantelMount lists a maximum mantel depth for each model: 15 inches for the MM700, 16 for the MM815, and 18 for the MM340 and MM540. The MAX1 lists 20. Weight and size come next: the MM700 and MM815 are listed for TVs of 45 to 90 inches and up to 115 pounds, the MM340 for 44 to 80 inches and 20 to 90 pounds, and the MAX1 for 50 to 86 inches with a sound bar and up to 90 pounds. A deep mantel can also limit how far the TV swings, so we check the swing as well as the clearance before we order.

Is the motorized MM815 worth it over a manual pull-down?

It depends on who pulls the TV down. The MM700, MM540 and MM340 are manual: you take the handles and bring the TV down by hand. The MM815 does it from an RF remote, with two memory presets for the drop and swivel, and MantelMount lists a heat sensor on it that changes colour when the fireplace is too hot. If a child, a guest or someone with a bad shoulder will use the TV, the motor earns its place. If one person uses it and it is mostly a weekend-game TV, a manual mount does the same job. We say which we would pick on the wall survey.

Can a MantelMount go on a stone or brick fireplace?

Often, and it comes down to what is behind the surface. MantelMount’s own answer is that structural stone takes the mount with proper anchors, while a thin veneer means finding the studs behind it. It also makes an AB40 horizontal adapter and an SSB40 single-stud adapter for brick facades, foam stone panels and a single centred stud. We open up or probe the wall before we promise a mount, and if the wall cannot carry the weight we say so and propose a different position.

Will a sound bar or center speaker fit with a MantelMount?

Yes, with the right adapter. MantelMount makes the SBK00 kit for a sound bar or center speaker below the TV, which it lists as not compatible with the MAX1, and the SBXL adapter for one above the TV, rated to 20 pounds. The MM700 has a sound bar attachment built in. A bar below the TV on a mantel needs another inch and a half of clearance over the shelf. If you would rather keep sound off the moving mount, in-wall or in-ceiling speakers do that, and we plan it with the TV.

Can a MantelMount go outside?

No. MantelMount’s MM815 page says the mount is not advised for outdoor use, and its answer on the MAX1 says it is not rated for outdoor use. A covered patio gets an outdoor-rated TV on hardware made for it, which is a different job.
