★FOR CUSTOM BUILDERS · PRE-WIRE + INSTALL
IntegrateIT is a Platinum-tier Control4 dealer, Crestron Elite Partner and Lutron Certified Installer, and a trade on the preferred lists of Kansas City custom-home builders. We show up to pre-construction. We pre-wire on the electrician’s schedule. We deliver fixed-price proposals. We don’t surprise you with change orders.
If you build custom homes in the Kansas City metro and want one AV integrator who fits inside your existing trade rhythm, this is how we work.
Five commitments to every builder, in writing
Our pre-wire spec is in your hands the same week the project signs. Low-voltage rough-in runs alongside electrical — same week, same trade rhythm. We don’t hold up framing or drywall.
After the site walk, we write a fixed-price proposal. That price is the price. If the scope changes mid-build, we surface the delta + price before doing the work, never on the final invoice. No "TBD line items." No surprise change orders.
Our pre-wire process matches the rough-in conventions every KC builder uses. A trade that fits the existing build flow, not a vendor that disrupts it.
Daniel runs every project. The crew is the same KC-local crew on every install — we don’t subcontract the work that decides whether the wiring disappears and the project finishes clean. The builder gets one phone number. That phone number is Daniel’s.
Every install carries a five-year workmanship warranty, and the equipment carries its own manufacturer warranty. After that, the homeowner has our support for as long as they own the system. When the homeowner calls four years post-close, the builder doesn’t hear about it — IntegrateIT handles it directly.
Process

01 · Pre-construction
Once a project signs, we read the architectural set, the electrical RCP, and the structured-cabling spec (if one exists). We meet on site with you and the electrician before rough-in. Pre-wire spec is in your inbox the same week.

02 · Rough-in
Our crew shows up the same week the electrician roughs in power. We pull low-voltage cable, set boxes, leave service loops at every keypad / display / speaker location. Drywall happens on your schedule, not ours.

03 · Trim + finish
Trim happens after paint, before the homeowner walks the house. Keypads land level, racks are labeled, every cable is dressed. The homeowner’s first impression is "this looks like it was always meant to be here" — because it was.

04 · Handoff + warranty
We sit with the homeowner for an hour on closing day, train them on lights, audio, video, climate, security. Then the five-year workmanship warranty begins, and so does our support — for as long as they own the system. The builder isn’t the homeowner’s tech-support phone number anymore — we are.
Best fit
Custom-home GCs
Builders who do a handful to a dozen custom homes a year, with consistent pre-wire requirements and homeowner-direct close-outs.
Design-build firms
Firms running architecture + construction under one roof. We slot into the design phase so the AV spec is part of the documents the homeowner signs, not a change order later.
Specification-driven remodels
High-end whole-house remodels where the homeowner expects the AV system to match the millwork. We work with the GC + the designer + the electrician as a single trade.
We don’t want to be your AV vendor. We want to be the trade on your preferred list — the one you call before you call the electrician, because the AV spec drives the rough-in rhythm.
