- Lutron HomeWorks or RA3 underneath. Lighting and shades run on Lutron; Control4 sits above as the single interface. It is the architecture to look at first when lighting and shades are a large enough part of the project to want their own system.
- A Ubiquiti network under all of it. Control4 is only as steady as the network it rides on, so the switching, access points and cabling get engineered before the automation does.
- Triad or Sonos for the audio zones. Triad in-ceiling on a matrix for whole-house work; Sonos where the family already owns players and wants to keep them.
- Sony or JVC projection in the theater. One Control4 scene wakes the projector, drops the screen and sets the lights in order.
- Josh.ai when the household wants to talk to it. Voice is another way into the Control4 system, not a replacement for the keypads.
- Paradox intrusion for the security layer. Arm state and door status surface on the same app as the lights.

Three reasons: (1) advance access to new Control4 hardware and firmware before non-Platinum dealers, (2) priority technical support from Snap One when something needs escalation, (3) deeper certification depth — Platinum dealers are required to maintain CEDIA and Control4-specific certifications that lower tiers do not. For complex installs, the tier difference shows in the result.

Yes. IntegrateIT is a Control4 Platinum Dealer, Crestron Elite Partner and Lutron Certified Dealer, authorized for several other brands as well. We recommend the right platform for your project — sometimes that's Control4, sometimes it's Crestron, sometimes it's a two-system Lutron-underneath-Control4 architecture. We are not Control4-only.
