TCL TVs · Kansas City.

IntegrateIT carries and installs TCL across the Kansas City metro — the QD-Mini LED, SQD-Mini LED, RGB-Mini LED and QLED televisions for the big screen in a family room, the second screen in a basement or a bedroom, and the extra rooms of a multi-room video system. One precision first, because the trade is sloppy about this word: TCL is a line we carry and install under distribution, not one we hold our own dealer agreement on, so we do not call ourselves an authorized TCL dealer. What we are is the people who size the screen to the seats, run the power and signal behind it, set the picture up in the room it lives in, and write down what we put on the wall. What we carry and install from TCL

TCL sorts its US television range by panel technology, and the headings below are TCL’s own: SQD-Mini LED, QD-Mini LED, RGB-Mini LED and QLED, with sizes as TCL lists them. A series name tells you the panel family and the size range. It does not tell you the room, which is why we read the specific model’s sheet before it goes on a drawing. We specify, install and commission to order.

  • QD-Mini LED — QM9K, QM8K, QM7K, QM6K, X11K and A400U. TCL labels these 4K QD-Mini LED, and the product names for the QM series and the X11K carry Google TV. TCL lists the QM9K and QM8K from 65 to 98 inches, the QM7K from 55 to 115, the QM6K from 55 to 85, the X11K from 85 to 98 and the A400U from 55 to 85. This is the heading to start from for a family room or a media room.
  • SQD-Mini LED — QM7L, QM8L and X11L. TCL gives SQD-Mini LED its own heading in the TV & Home Theater menu: the QM7L from 55 to 98 inches, the QM8L from 65 to 98 and the X11L from 75 to 98, labelled 4K SQD-Mini LED on the first two. We treat the label as a reason to compare the sheets, not as a ranking.
  • RGB-Mini LED — RM9L. A 4K UHD HDR set with Google TV in its name, listed from 85 to 115 inches. At that size the wall and the route for power and signal matter more than the panel label, and it is the case our TV mounting and concealment work exists for.
  • QLED — Q651G, A300W and A300L. TCL labels these 4K QLED: the Q651G from 43 to 98 inches, the A300W from 55 to 85 and the A300L from 55 to 75. This is where a guest room, a gym or a garage can start.
  • Q3K — 1080P FHD. TCL lists it from 32 to 40 inches. It is the small screen for a kitchen counter, a desk or a laundry room, where 4K resolution would be lost on the viewing distance.
  • Google TV. TCL’s product names carry Google TV as the smart-TV platform. A set like that signs in to an account and updates over the network, so we set it up with you at the install rather than leaving a login prompt on the screen.
  • Beyond the panels. TCL’s TV & Home Theater menu also carries a Projector heading, sound bars, Dolby Atmos FlexConnect and accessories. This page is about the televisions. When a room wants projection or a sound system we start from the room and say which line fits, from our home theater work.

How we put TCL into a room

A television is the easy part of the job. What decides whether it still looks right in two years is where it hangs, what feeds it and how it was set up.

  • Size from the seats. We start from where people sit and how far the screen is from them, then pick the series and the size. TCL lists the QM7K and the RM9L up to 115 inches, and a screen that large is a wall and structure decision before it is a product one.
  • Route before bracket. Power and signal go into the wall before the set does, with blocking where the mount lands and the sources in a rack or a cabinet elsewhere. Our TV mounting and concealment scope covers the work, and the network rack build covers the sources.
  • A network lane for the smart part. A Google TV set updates and streams over your network. We wire it where the wall allows and plan the whole-home Wi-Fi where it does not, so the TV is not the reason the guest network falls over on a Friday night.
  • Picture set in the room it lives in. A set leaves the box tuned for a bright retail floor, not your living room. We set the picture modes for the room’s light and, in a dedicated room, calibrate it and write the settings down.
  • Control and documentation. Whatever control path a model exposes, we confirm it on that model before it is specified, then wire it into the room’s multi-room video or automation system. Model, serial number, mounting height, input labels and settings land in your portal with the rest of the project record.

Where TCL sits beside the other lines we carry

A TCL set is the proportionate answer when the question is size and the number of rooms rather than the last bit of picture performance: a basement, a gym, a second living room, a screen over 85 inches. When the room is dark and black level is the decision, we point to Sony or LG, whose pages describe OLED families. Samsung is the answer when the screen is meant to be art on the wall, or the wall is direct-view LED. And Loewe is for the room where the television is a piece of furniture and the designer has opinions about it.

Common questions

Who installs TCL TVs in Kansas City?

IntegrateIT (Overland Park, KS) carries and installs TCL across the Kansas City metro — family rooms, basements and bedrooms in Johnson County and Kansas City, Missouri, and larger properties out to Lee’s Summit. To be precise about the relationship, because the trade is sloppy about this word: TCL is a line we carry and install under distribution, not one we hold our own dealer agreement on, so we do not call ourselves an authorized TCL dealer. We specify, install and commission TCL televisions to order. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.

Which TCL series do you install?

TCL lists its US televisions under SQD-Mini LED, QD-Mini LED, RGB-Mini LED and QLED headings. On the QD-Mini LED heading that is the QM9K, QM8K, QM7K, QM6K, X11K and A400U; under SQD-Mini LED the QM7L, QM8L and X11L; the RM9L under RGB-Mini LED; the Q651G, A300W and A300L as 4K QLED; and the Q3K as 1080P FHD. We carry the range and choose the series room by room, from the seats, the light and the wall.

What do QD-Mini LED, SQD-Mini LED and RGB-Mini LED mean?

On TCL’s own pages they are headings and labels. TCL groups its sets by them and does not set out a definition on the pages we read, so we do not repeat one as fact. What we do is compare the specific models you are choosing between on their published sheets and, where it matters, in the room. A label alone is a poor guide, because the same label covers sets from 55 inches to 115.

How big a TCL can you mount?

TCL lists the QM7K up to 115 inches and the RM9L from 85 to 115 inches. A set that size is a structural question first: we check the weight on the model’s sheet, put blocking in the wall where the mount lands, and plan the route for power and signal before the set arrives. If a wall cannot take it safely we say so, and suggest a smaller screen or a different position.

Do you set up Google TV as well as mounting the set?

Yes. TCL’s product names carry Google TV as the smart-TV platform. We sign the set in to an account you control, check for updates, put it on a wired connection where the wall allows or on a network designed for streaming where it does not, and label the inputs. The sources, such as an Apple TV or a cable box, belong in a rack or cabinet out of sight where the room allows it, and we run the cable to them.

What does a TCL install involve, and what happens afterwards?

A site walk or a photo review first: the seats, the light, the wall, and where the power and the network are. Then the specification in writing — series, size, mount, sources — before anything is ordered. Then installation and commissioning: wall prepared, set mounted, picture modes set for the room, inputs labelled, control tested. Model, serial number, mounting height and settings are recorded with the rest of the project. Our installation carries a five-year workmanship warranty from the final invoice.
