Authorized Dealer

AudioControl · Kansas City.

IntegrateIT is an authorized AudioControl dealer across the Kansas City metro — the AudioControl Hyperion processor and amplifiers behind a dedicated theater, the small AudioControl Bijou amplifier that sits behind a family-room TV, and the multi-zone amplifiers that run music to every room. The dealer agreement is our own, and the exact models for your room are confirmed on your proposal. Beyond the paperwork, we are the people who count the channels and the zones, plan the rack, wire the room, tie the amplifiers into the control system and calibrate them afterwards. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.

What we specify and install from AudioControl

The families below are the ones on AudioControl’s home-audio pages today, with AudioControl’s own channel counts. AudioControl also makes car and marine audio; this page covers the home and commercial range only. What that range puts forward is amplification and processing at every size, from a one-box amplifier for a TV room to a sixteen-channel rack amplifier. We specify and install to order.

  • AudioControl Hyperion processor and encoders. The Hyperion APR-16 is a 16-channel balanced-output preamp processor with HDMI switching, for a dedicated theater. The Hyperion Axis2, Axis10 and Axis16 are eARC Dante encoders: they take the sound from a TV and send it over the network to the amplifiers, with no receiver at the TV.
  • AudioControl Hyperion amplifiers. The Hyperion Tetra, Penta and Hepta, at four, five and seven channels, Class-H designs with Dante networking. AudioControl positions them for dedicated theaters, in the same look as the rest of Hyperion.
  • AudioControl G4 power amplifiers and RS subwoofer amplifiers. The AudioControl Avalon G4 at four channels, Pantages G4 at five and Savoy G4 at seven, which sit behind a conventional home theater processor and drive the speakers, and the AudioControl RS 1000 and RS 500, both with DSP built in, for the subwoofers.
  • AudioControl Bijou amplifiers. The AudioControl Bijou 2100 (stereo), Bijou 3100 (three channels for a passive soundbar) and Bijou 5100D (five channels, with Dante), each taking the TV’s sound over HDMI eARC. This is the range for a media room or a family room where the TV is the source and the amplifier should not be seen.
  • AudioControl Architect multi-zone amplifiers. The AudioControl Architect P800 at 8 channels, P2260 at 12 and P2660 at 16, which AudioControl lists as four, six and eight zones, and the EQ models P250 EQ (2 channels), P2280 EQ and P2680 EQ, which add five bands of equalization. These are how we run whole-house audio from one rack.
  • AudioControl Director and CM Series amplifiers. The AudioControl Director D2800 (8 channels) and D4600 (16 channels) and the M Series matrix amplifiers, the M4800 (8 channels) and M6800 (16), with Dante versions as the M4800D and M6800D. All have onboard DSP, and the M Series runs on its own or under a third-party control system. The CM Series adds dual-mode 70-volt DSP amplifiers with Dante versions, for a commercial room such as a restaurant.

How we put AudioControl amplifiers into a room

  • Speakers and zones first, amplifier second. We lay out the speakers, count the channels and the rooms, then choose the chassis. Buying the amplifier first is how a rack ends up with channels nobody uses, or a zone short.
  • The rack, its airflow and its network. A multi-channel amplifier makes heat, and AudioControl lists rack-mount brackets for its power amplifiers. The Dante models send audio over the network, so the switch and the cabling go into the network rack plan, before the cabinetry is built.
  • Calibration with the room finished. Gains, crossovers, delays and subwoofer levels are set with a measurement microphone at the seats people use and checked by ear afterwards. For a theater this is part of our home theater calibration work.
  • One button, not five remotes. The Bijou amplifiers answer to IP and IR, and the Director M Series runs under a third-party control system, so the amplifiers go under smart home automation with the display, the sources and the lights.

Where AudioControl sits beside the other lines we carry

AudioControl comes up when a job is many channels or many rooms from one rack. When one receiver should run a single room, we reach for Denon or Marantz, and Marantz also builds separate processors and power amplifiers. For a two-channel listening room built around a pair of speakers, we also carry Classé.

Questions

Common questions

Is IntegrateIT an authorized AudioControl dealer?

Yes. IntegrateIT (Overland Park, KS) is an authorized AudioControl dealer across the Kansas City metro, on both sides of the state line — home theaters, media rooms, whole-home audio and commercial rooms. We count the speakers and the zones, choose the amplifiers and processors against that layout, plan the rack, wire the room, set the gains and the DSP, and tie the amplifiers into the control system. We specify and install to order rather than selling boxes off a shelf, so the models on your proposal come off the room drawing. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.

Which AudioControl amplifier fits my home theater?

Speaker count decides it. AudioControl lists the Avalon G4 at four channels, the Pantages G4 at five and the Savoy G4 at seven, and the Hyperion Tetra, Penta and Hepta at four, five and seven channels with Dante networking. A 7.1.4 Atmos layout is eleven speaker channels, which a Savoy G4 and an Avalon G4 cover between them, plus a subwoofer amplifier such as the RS 1000 or RS 500. We count the speakers first and pick the chassis second, with a channel or two of headroom.

Can AudioControl run a TV room without a receiver?

Yes. The Bijou amplifiers take the sound from the TV over HDMI eARC. The Bijou 2100 is a stereo amplifier, the Bijou 3100 has three channels for a passive soundbar, and the Bijou 5100D has five channels for 5.1 surround and adds Dante. AudioControl sells a VESA mount so the amplifier sits behind the display, and all three are set up on a web page and controlled over IP or IR, so the control system can turn them on with the rest of the room. We still draw the speaker layout first. The amplifier is the small part of that room.

How do I put music in every room with AudioControl?

With a multi-zone amplifier. The Architect P Series comes in 8, 12 and 16 channels, and the Architect EQ models add five bands of equalization. The Director D and M Series add onboard DSP and network control, and the M Series is a matrix amplifier that can run on its own or under a third-party control system. Several models have a Dante version, which carries the audio over the network from the rack to the amplifiers, so the switch and the cabling are planned with the rack. AudioControl lists a 16-channel chassis at up to eight zones and an 8-channel chassis at up to four.

How is AudioControl different from Denon or Marantz?

Denon and Marantz build AV receivers, which put the processing and the amplification in one chassis, and we are an authorized dealer for both. AudioControl’s home range, as its own site lists it, is amplifiers, processors and network audio rather than receivers: the AudioControl Hyperion processors and amplifiers for a dedicated theater, and multi-zone amplifiers for the rest of the house. We choose on channel count, on how many rooms one rack has to feed, and on whether the room wants separates or a single box.

What happens after the install?

The amplifier gains and DSP are set in the room with the furniture in place, the settings are recorded in your portal, and the control system is programmed so one button turns the room on. Every install carries our five-year workmanship warranty from the final invoice.
