Authorized Dealer
Classé · Kansas City.
IntegrateIT is an authorized Classé dealer across the Kansas City metro — the Classé Delta PRE Mk II preamplifier and the Delta STEREO and Delta MONO power amplifiers, the electronics that sit in a rack behind a two-channel listening room or drive the front speakers of a theater. The dealer agreement is our own, and the exact models for your room are confirmed on your proposal. Beyond the paperwork, we are the people who choose the speakers they will drive, plan the rack and its airflow, wire the room, connect the preamplifier to the control system and set it all up afterwards. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.
What we specify and install from Classé
The products below are the ones Classé’s own site lists today, all in the Delta Series. Classé designs its electronics in Montréal, and its site lists no receivers, no surround processors and no speakers, so a Classé system is a decision about the amplification stage and the music source. The rest of the room comes from the other lines we install. We specify and install to order.
- Classé Delta PRE Mk II preamplifier. Balanced and single-ended analog inputs, a phono input, USB, coaxial, optical and AES/EBU digital inputs, and an Ethernet input with HEOS built in. Its outputs are configurable, for example as two pairs plus a subwoofer feed, and it supports mono or stereo subwoofers and has a headphone output. For a control system it lists DC triggers, CAN Bus and RS-232 over RJ-45. This is the source switch and volume control of a two-channel system.
- Classé Delta STEREO power amplifier. A two-channel amplifier with a pair of illuminated VU meters on the front. Classé publishes its size as 17.50 inches wide, 19.37 inches deep and 8.74 inches high, and its net weight as 102.3 pounds. It is the amplifier for a single pair of speakers.
- Classé Delta MONO power amplifier. One channel per chassis, with illuminated VU meters on the front. It has the same published size as the Delta STEREO and a net weight of 97.7 pounds. A stereo pair is two of them, and a multichannel front stage is one per speaker. Classé says its ICTunnel cooling makes the Delta MONO stackable and rackable.
Classé presents the three as one family: it says the preamplifier is built to feed the Delta components after it, and that each amplifier sits with the rest of the Delta line. When a job asks for a different preamplifier or processor in front of a Classé Delta amplifier, we check the connections between them on the drawing first.
How we put Classé amplification into a room
- Speakers first, amplifier second. We choose the speakers for the room and the way you listen, read the speaker maker’s published impedance and sensitivity, and then decide between a stereo chassis and a pair of mono chassis. Buying the amplifier first is how a speaker ends up under-driven or a rack ends up the wrong size.
- The rack carries a hundred pounds a chassis. At the published net weights above, one amplifier is a load for a shelf, not a place for a stack of components. We plan the cabinet or closet rack for the weight and for airflow around each amplifier before the cabinetry is built.
- Bass handled on purpose. The Delta PRE Mk II supports mono or stereo subwoofers. We set the subwoofer levels with a measurement microphone at the seats people use and check them by ear, as part of our home theater calibration work.
- One button, not a rack of remotes. The preamplifier’s trigger and serial connections are how it can go under a control system with the sources, the lights and the shades. We confirm the control path for the exact model first, then program it as part of smart home automation.
Where Classé sits beside the other lines we carry
We are an authorized dealer for Marantz as well. Marantz’s separates cover the surround processing that Classé does not make, so it comes up when the room is a theater; Classé comes up when the room is two-channel, or when the front speakers of a theater get amplifiers of their own behind a processor. The speakers come first in either case, and Bowers & Wilkins is one of the speaker lines we read the published figures of when we size an amplifier. When a room wants one receiver instead of separates, or music through several rooms over HEOS, Denon is the simpler answer.
Questions
Common questions
Is IntegrateIT an authorized Classé dealer?
Yes. IntegrateIT (Overland Park, KS) is an authorized Classé dealer across the Kansas City metro, on both sides of the state line — listening rooms, home theaters, media rooms and music systems. We choose the speakers first, size the amplification against them, plan the rack, wire the room, connect the preamplifier to the control system and set the system up in the room afterwards. We specify and install to order rather than selling boxes off a shelf, so the model on your proposal comes off the room drawing. Phone: (913) 804-7575 or office@integrateit.tech.
What does Classé make, and does it replace a receiver?
It does not replace a receiver. The products Classé lists on its own site are one family, the Delta Series: the Classé Delta PRE Mk II preamplifier and the Delta STEREO and Delta MONO power amplifiers. There are no receivers, surround processors or speakers in that list. So Classé suits a two-channel listening room, or the amplifier stage of a theater whose surround processing comes from a separate processor, such as the Marantz separates we also install.
Stereo or mono: which Classé Delta amplifier fits my room?
The Delta STEREO is one chassis with two channels. The Delta MONO is one channel per chassis, so a stereo pair is two of them, and a theater front stage of three speakers is three. The two have the same published size, 17.50 inches wide, 19.37 inches deep and 8.74 inches high, and the Delta STEREO weighs 102.3 pounds net where a Delta MONO weighs 97.7. We decide by the speakers, by how many channels the room needs and by what the rack can carry, not by the model name.
Can a Classé system run in a home theater?
Yes, as the amplifier stage. A Classé amplifier has no surround decoding of its own, so the theater needs a processor or receiver ahead of it, and we confirm on the drawing that the processor’s outputs and the amplifier’s inputs connect before anything is ordered. The Delta PRE Mk II is a music preamplifier: analog, digital and network sources, and support for mono or stereo subwoofers. For a room that is mainly movies, a receiver or processor from one of our other lines is usually the simpler answer; for a room that is half listening room, Classé stays in the plan.
Can the Classé preamplifier stream music and join the control system?
The Delta PRE Mk II lists HEOS built in, with an Ethernet input. HEOS is also the streaming platform inside the Denon and Marantz products we install. For control it lists DC triggers, CAN Bus and RS-232 over RJ-45. Which of those a given control system uses depends on the system, and we confirm the control path for the exact model before it goes on a proposal. The aim is that the keypad or app turns the system on, picks the source and sets the volume without a Classé remote on the table.
What happens after the install?
The system is set up in the finished room with the furniture in place, any subwoofer levels are measured and set at the seats people use, the settings are recorded in your portal, and the control system is programmed so one button starts a listening session. Every install carries our five-year workmanship warranty from the final invoice.
